The GEO
Council, set up in 1999, has objectives to inculcate campus
environment awareness, rally campus support to create
environmental awareness beyond campus and conduct activities
that will enhance appreciation of nature, the prevention of
destruction to the environment and the development of personal
cum corporate responsibility towards the preservation of our
environmental future.
The club is dedicated to bring ideas and activities to promote
environmental awareness to everyone in Nanyang Polytechnic,
Singapore and hopefully the world. Geo Council is proud to be
the club to spread the green ideas to the people in NYP. We
have exhibitions, fund raising, visits to environmental
sites and more fun and exciting activities.
