Genetic Engineering is an issue that have been discuss in most of God-fearing believer. I would like to share some of thought on this matter. Perhaps you can reading over other article shared by other believer or general public at large.

I believe that God is our creator He is life giver and life sustainer. He is the designer of all DNA in the living organism of this world. How much authority has He given to man?

"And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so." (Gen 1:11 KJV)

"And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good." (Gen 1:12 KJV)

"And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so." (Gen 1:24 KJV)

The phrase "according to its kind" (or its equivalent) occurs ten times in this chapter, referring to vegetation and all living creatures. Creation is orderly and perpetuates itself within God's established laws.

"Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee." (Lev 19:19 KJV) These practices might have been considered as altering the original constitution of God in creation;

"For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb." (Psa 139:13 NNAS)

"My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;" (Psa 139:15 NNAS)

""Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations."" (Jer 1:5 NNAS)

What I understand about "playing god"? Does God have the copyright over the DNA he has designed?

Discuss the difference between engineering the genes of onions and the genes of man. Can both be wrong, or only one?

What is the motive over the research? How was it tested? What was the result?

Does God have Sovereignty over life and Death? Does it glorify God as ultimate creator and designer?

Does it violate God intention and his purpose?

Examine yourself, am I coveting over the genes that I wanted have? ( I want it, I must have it, I have the right to have it; I love it; I don't care if it is right or wrong)

Will the discovery or research make way for man to practice sin , revive a sinful act that was diminish by God for good, evil or demonic activities?

Was the research or discovery done in secret?

My views and comment

I understand that to "play God" has to do with making decision of altering the species or genes into a entire new species without the Designers approval and deny His Sovereignty over life, birth and death. It means also to go ahead of all plans without seeking and guide by the Sovereign God, it is the same all matters in our daily life. Man are stewardship of this world living thing and resource. He has to give an account of what he does in his lifetime. Man was told to oversee God's creation and this is part of making creation better, preserve and maintain every species that God has made for us and overcoming the effects of sin.

If the Spirit of the Lord visit you would you open your heart to receive him to your life.

You must ask the Messiah Yeshua into your heart and life in order to have the blood of atonement, to have a personal relationship with G-d, and to enjoy His abundant life (the Messiah will not force His way into your life; He desires to be invited). In Joel 3:5 it is written, "...whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered [saved]...."

1. Pray to G-d in your own words (prayer is just talking to G-d).
2. Confess that you have sinned against G-d and that you are truly sorry for it.
3. Ask the Messiah Yeshua into your heart and life to cleanse you with His blood of Atonement.
4. Thank Him by faith for doing this

Dear L_rd Yeshua,

I confess that I have greatly sinned against You and I'm sorry for it.

Messiah Yeshua, please come into my heart and life and cleanse me with Your blood of Atonement.

Thank You for doing this according to Your Word." in Lord Yeshua's Name Amen. If you have the conviction and by

faith taken the step to pray this prayer, G_d has made this wonderful promised for you with the

following Scriptures.

1. Your sins are atoned for (covered, forgiven) (Isaiah 53:6.)
2. You receive righteousness (right-standing with G-d) by faith (Genesis 15:6; Habakkuk 2:4).
3. You enter into a personal relationship with G-d and you become a child of G-d (Jeremiah 31:32).
4. You receive eternal life (Joel 3:5; Daniel 12:2).
5. G-d's Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) enters your life!
