Q: Will my portrait sketch be an accurate copy of the original photo?
A: Well, even the original artist could not create an exact copy and there may be a slight variation in details. Each artist is accomplished in a particular style. My goal is to ensure you happy with my works of portraits and drawings.
Q: How much does one portrait sketch cost? And how long does it take?
A: The cost of your portrait sketch will depend upon the complexity of the original work and the size. And, as a guideline, charge between S$ 40- $80 for one head in black and white, in charcoal. I will start to work after all the details amd payment are settled down . It will take about two working day to finish one face drawing in A3 size, black and white, in charcoal. Express service is available upon request. Rate is 30% ~ 100% on top of the price. For extra detailed portrait drawings or paintings need more time to finish, also I will need high quality photo to draw from.

Q: Can I return the drawing if I am not satisfied with the quality of the work?
A: Yes. In fact, before hand in drawing, I will email a photo of the completed work to you for your inspection. At this point, if the drawing is far away from the photo, you may reject it and receive a full refund of your deposit. Anyway as art is a matter of viewing.
Q: What about the photo I email you? Will you keep it or publish it? Will you publish my portrait?
A: No. Only if you consent then I will publish them as a sample of my work. I don't keep your photo at all. For the portrait I will keep a softcopy as my own reference or record.
Payment made via POSB/DBS (In Singapore) fund transfer is preferred.
I also guarantee all my fine artworks of portraits and drawings are done by hand and original. |
